Pastor Michaela has been serving at First Lutheran Church since 2020, initially as the Minister of Faith Formation. In March 2025, she was ordained and now leads the church’s ministries for Children’s, Youth, and Adult Faith Formation.

Originally from the Bay Area of California, Pastor Michaela earned a B.A. in Religion from St. Olaf College. She continued her theological studies at Princeton Theological Seminary, where she obtained both a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Christian Education. Additionally, she holds a Master’s degree in Art and Religion from the Graduate Theological Union.
